WTA Linz: Camila Giorgi defeats Teichmann in two sets and progressed to the quarterfinals
Camila Giorgi has earned the entrance to the quarterfinals of the "Upper Austria Ladies" in Linz. In the match against Swiss 21-year-old Jil Teichmann, she scored 7-6 6-3 in an hour and twenty minutes of play. With regard to the other competitions, Barbora Strýcová and Alison Van Uytvanckfae have advanced. While Julia Goerges and Kateřina Siniaková, respectively, first and ninth seedling of the scoreboard were eliminated.

SECOND SET- The Azzurra, galvanized by the victory of the inaugural fraction, could play with greater fluency. From the beginning of the second set he took the reins of the game firmly in his hands. Then the Swiss managed to keep only two turns of service, but did not seem able to overturn the fate of the meeting. On the score of 5-2, however, he forced Giorgi, who served for the match, to give him a counter break. The Italian has however won the race in the following game, when she realized the second of the two match points available on the Helvetic service.
